Apres un rêve

Fascinated by French romanticism and music that brings the sky within reach, Barbara Marie-Louise Pavelka and Paula García del Valle dedicate their program entirely to French music and literature. In doing so, they also want to reflect the French flair of Rossau with the Lycée and the Mercenairie.

Not only beautiful works by Gabriel Fauré, Camille Saint-Saëns and Massenet take the audience into the in-between world between longing, dream and reality, but also the piano suite "Gaspard de la nuit" with the accompanying poems by "Aloysius Bertrand" cast their beguiling spell over the audience.
